Condoms are medical devices. In their penis sleeve packaging, they're protected from 'wear and tear' as well as ambient bacteria that could either damage its integrity to protect you against STI's and undesired pregnancies, or cause different kinds of infections.Moreover, if you think about it, proper washing and storage of reusable condoms would be virtually impossible. These are critical to proper use and protection - just for the same reasons as the gynos and dentists change gloves in between patients, the tattoo artist changes the needles between customers, etc... You get the idea.For now, reusable condoms are not a thing. Research isn't halted but the industry and tech has yet to come up with a viable system with a large enough market to be able to produce. We're simply not there yet. We're currently conducting studies on condoms' biodegradability and will have more data in the coming months to see how we can gear towards limiting waste as much as possible.For the time being, condoms need to be stored properly in their packaging to remain efficient (and certified CE, ISO, FDA, etc).

The best thing we've managed to do with our condoms, is make the list of ingredients completely transparent (which is not a requirement in the industry). Believe it or not, many endocrine disruptors lurk in many of the bigger brands, and there are reasons they don't want you to know what their condoms are made of.
